Office description
The Hague Central Station Centre is on the 1st and 11th floor of a modernistic stone and glass high-rise building which has views right across the city. It is next to the largest rail station in the Netherlands, which is the primary route into the city for domestic and international visitors. The whole area has undergone a transformation in recent years with many new skyscraper buildings now sitting amongst older, classic architecture. It has a thriving business community with construction, engineering, telecoms and logistics firms all based nearby, as well as insurance, finance and energy companies. There are also businesses related to freight shipping, reflecting the city's long-standing importance as a seaport. With an affluent international population, the city has a thriving retail sector, and a number of large and upmarket shopping centres which are easy to reach on foot from the centre.
