Office description
The Milan Velasca Centre is in a seven-storey building renovated by renowned architect Gae Aulenti, whose work includes the Musée d'Orsay in Paris. This peaceful location overlooks the tree-lined Largo Richini square in front of Milan's State University, dating back to the 15th century. Milan is sometimes called 'the city of knowledge' and has seven university campuses as well as many specialist educational institutes and research centres, linked to the trade fair and convention system in an entrepreneurial network. From meeting rooms in the glass-walled top floor there are particularly stunning views of the Duomo cathedral and the Velasca Tower, a mushroom-shaped 100m tall skyscraper built in 1954. The centre has its own secure underground parking and is within easy reach of public transport.
